The Waterside Shops Security Department employs security professionals with a focus on guest service and crime prevention. The Security Department at Waterside Shops also partners with local law enforcement and together we strive to provide a world class shopping and dining experience.  Security officers are available to assist guests by calling 239.825.1759 at any time.

Code of Conduct

We are delighted you have chosen us as your shopping, dining and entertainment destination. We want our guests to enjoy their visit to our shopping center. Therefore, we will exercise our sole judgment and ask anyone who we believe is interfering with the enjoyment or safety of our patrons, our merchants or the shopping center to leave the premises.
Behavior that may result in removal from the Property includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Smoking, use of e-cigarettes or any other products that produce a vapor inside the building.
  • Appropriate non-offensive attire, including shoes and shirts must always be worn. Facial coverings are prohibited except for religious and medical reasons.
  • The use of offensive languages such as obscene language, racial, religious, gender or ethnic slurs, inappropriate hand gestures, including but not restricted to gang signs or symbols, and loud or boisterous behavior.
  • Violence, threats of violence, fighting, physical abuse, or physically or verbally threatening any person, or hostility of any kind.
  • Littering, defacing, damaging, destroying, or removing any real or personal property.
  • Overnight parking, parking in non-designated parking areas, parking in fire lanes, or other no parking areas. Parking violators may be subject to towing at the vehicle owner’s expense.
  • Running, use of bicycles, skating, skateboarding, rollerblading, hover boards/wheelie board, Heelys, use of drones, mini-scooters or similar items that obstruct or interfere with the flow of customer traffic are prohibited.
  • Any disturbing the peace, including, not limited to, unlawful or non-permitted assembling, demonstrating, parading, picketing, marching, flash mobs, and unauthorized events, performances, or solicitations, of any kind.
  • Filming and photography are encouraged for personal use including for personal social media channels. For professional/commercial filming, photography or recording of any kind please visit the Marketing Department within the Mall Management Office to submit your request.
  • Service animals in the company of, and trained to assist disabled guests are permitted. Pet dogs are also permitted and must be confined within a pet carrier, stroller or leash. Not all stores allow pet dogs.
  • Unauthorized access or entry to restricted areas.
  • Loitering, blocking storefronts or fire exits and walking in groups in such a way as to inconvenience others.
  • Failure to respond to requests or direction from Mall Management staff.

Your entry to Waterside Shops constitutes your consent to abide by the above rules governing conduct. A violation of these rules may result in removal, trespass and/or other legal action.

Please be advised that videos or other cameras may be recording your activity. Photography, video or images taken on property may be used for promotional purposes by Waterside Shops and its affiliates.
