Waterside Shops Welcomes Zimmermann

ZIMMERMANN is continuing its U.S. retail expansion with the opening of a store in Naples in April 2022.

The Naples store will be one of four ZIMMERMANN stores in Florida. The brand will have sixteen stores in the U.S by June 2022.

The ZIMMERMANN Naples store is 1356 square feet and designed by Studio McQualter.

The storefront is made from a beautifully textured render and finished in an emphatic green paint which has become synonymous with the brand’s aesthetic. A series of intimate rooms lead to an elevated lounge area with high coved ceilings which bounce the light.

The store features a mix of vintage lighting including a rare 1950’s Bruno Gatta wall light and Ettore Sottsass’ Callimaco and Mario Bottas’ Shogun floor lamps. 1970’s Charlotte Perriand sconces adorn the walls. A custom pendant designed by Studio McQualter and made by Anna Charlesworth is suspended in the lounge and emphasises the grand ceiling height.

The artwork is a collection from Australian artists including Amy French, Emily Ferretti, Bridie Gilman, and includes a collage by Laith McGregor and custom vase by ceramicist, Nori Lindsay. Halo illuminated mirrors, a Vico Magistretti chair and a striking African carved timber table form part of the vintage furniture selection.

“We thought it would be great to incorporate a vacation theme into the Naples store – it’s simple, cool and has a sense of journey. It was important to us that the store fitted naturally into the neighborhood but that it also had little Australian touches – there are artworks by Australian artists Bridie Gillman, Emily Ferretti and Amy French which I just love and an emphatic green store front, which is very Zimmermann!” Creative Director & Co-Founder, Nicky Zimmermann.

The ZIMMERMANN Naples store is located at G-14 Waterside Shops, 5555 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34108. The store will open with the Spring 22 and Summer Swim 22 collections.
